Join us for “Digitizing on a Dime: Digitization Basics for Individuals and Small Genealogy Societies.” This workshop demonstrates the basics of digitization for your family or society’s historic photos and documents. Learn best practices for creating and keeping digital files with limited resources. This workshop will cover the fundamentals of digitization, image capture techniques, description requirements, and storage and access to your digital collections.

Kristin Britanik is the Digital Collections Coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh and Founder of Deep Genealogical Services.

This workshop is FREE and open to the public. Send RSVP and questions to Brianna Treleven, bltreleven.americorps@gmail.com, 330-941-3459. Registration is highly encouraged but not required. Free parking is available in the lot on Wood St.
