COVID-19 & Collections – ICA-Art Conservation Webinar

In this lively and accessible presentation three ICA conservators will share information and resources on caring for cultural heritage collections during the COVID-19 pandemic. Painting conservator Wendy Partridge, textile conservator, Jane Hammond, and object conservator Claire Curran will discuss the dos and definitely-do-nots of collection decontamination, provide the most up-to-date professional guidelines and practical information from national collecting and preservation organizations about disinfecting museum spaces and establishing cleaning protocols, and they will address reopening issues as they relate to collections care in this time of social distancing.
