For just one day each year, the historic 1807 Harrison House is transformed inside into the most decorated house south of the North Pole. Whether you are an adult of a child, your eyes will pop s you step inside and feel the magic of the season envelop you. See decorations unique to Franklinton history, such as a model train layout with Franklinton landmarks and a Christmas tree decorated with buffalo. (Franklinton was founded on a buffalo trail — today’s Route 315.) Santa will be presiding in his original historic Lazarus suit while the big Christmas train chugs around the Christmas tree in front of Santa’s chair. See the extraordinary hand-carved carousel. Meet the elves. Play with toys in the toy room. Bring your camera and create a special Christmas memory for your family!
