“Paper is inherently fragile and requires special care and handling to prevent damage. This presentation will discuss the preservation of paper-based materials for library, archive and museum professionals. After an introduction to the properties of paper, the talk will discuss common problems found in collections and the most important things you can do to prevent damage from occurring in the future. There will be time for discussion and questions following the presentation.
