For 2022, the Ohio Local History Alliance awarded Digitization Grants to three different projects, distributing a total of $5724. We are proud to offer this program annually and help Ohio’s local history organizations digitally preserve and make accessible their amazing collections. For more information, see our Digitization Grants page.
$2,500 to the Alliance Historical Society to digitize the 1895-1904 issues of The Alliance Daily Review and Alliance Standard Review and add them to the existing Ohio Memory collection. This project will expand the online coverage of the newspaper an additional 10 years.
$2,358 to the Delaware County Historical Society to digitize the Delaware Daily Journal Herald newspaper from December 15, 1904, through September 30, 1908, which will help meet the goal to make all issues of this newspaper available on the internet.
$866 to the Clark County Historical Society to digitize 20 16mm reels and a dozen VHS tapes. Their subjects touch on various aspects of Clark County life through the ages.
