2019 Digitization Grant Recipients

Each year, the Ohio Local History Alliance funds digitization grants to assist member organizations in digitizing their collections and expanding access to historical materials.  For 2019, OLHA has awarded four grants for a total of $7,446.  We are proud to offer this program annually and help Ohio’s local history organizations digitally preserve and make accessible their amazing collections. 2019 Recipients

  • Tri-State Warbird Museum – $1661 for digitization of the Delbert Langhorst Papers
  • Delaware County Historical Society – $1800 for digitizing the Delaware Daily Journal Herald: 1921 (April 1) – 1924 (January 31)
  • Spring Hill Historic Home – $1505 for scanning Spring Hill’s archives
  • Kent State University – $2500 for Igniting Access to the Past: Digitizing Ohio’s Sanborn Fire Maps
