Veterans Day Program – The Civil War’s George Sprecher

Veterans Day program on Civil War veteran George Sprecher. November 10 at 7pm at Arcanum Wayne Trail Historical Society located at 123 West George St, Arcanum, Ohio.

Program free and open to the public.

George served in the 34th but was also a postmaster and ran a business in arcanum. His wife took care of the home front while he was gone.

The experiences were taken from letters written home to his wife during the war which were compiled into a book.
