Ohio—Ohio History Connection’s Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor’s June ToolBox Workshop will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Dr. Donna DeBlasio, Professor of History at Youngstown State University and Director of the Applied History Program, will be leading a talk on historic homes.
Learn about the varying architectural styles and their history! Got a historic home or building? Or simply interested in learning more about ones near you? Discover research tools available to help you survey your piece of historical architecture. Dr. DeBlasio will also include a discussion on how to properly care for these historical structures.
The Toolbox Workshop is a one year outreach program led by the Local History Corps District 4 representative through Ohio History Service Corps’ AmeriCorps program. These programs are free and open to the public. The workshop will be held at the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor at 151 W Wood St. Youngstown, OH 44503.
