Join Ohio Humanities for the 19th annual tour of Ohio Chautauqua!
Chautauqua 2017: The Natural World is a five-day community event that combines living history performances, music, education, with audience participation. It is a nostalgic nod to a similar 19th century program established on the shores of New York’s Chautauqua Lake.
2017 Ohio Chautauqua Stops:
June 6-10: Burton
June 13-17: Clifton
June 20-24: Warren
☛ June 27-July 1: Milan ☚
Daytime activities will feature stimulating adult programs and hands-on workshops for youth hosted by local community organizations. Each evening, family and friends gather as live music fills the air. Afterward, a talented performer appears on stage, bringing a historic figure to life through personal stories and historic detail.
Hear from novelist Mary Shelley, primatologist Dian Fossey, former President Theodore Roosevelt, physicist Marie Curie, and Shawnee leader Chief Cornstalk.
All events are free. Additional program details available atOhioHumanities.org/
