Rick Williams will be presenting Gen. George Armstrong Custer, whom he began portraying in 2003. Rick has researched Custer’s life in detail and all of Custer’s travels, encounters, and engagements are coalesced into a comprehensive presentation! He regales his audience with famous and little known events of Custer’s life including early and family years, West Point years, Civil War record, Plains War years, suspension from the Army, and the Little Bighorn Campaign.
Rick is also a veteran cavalry reenactor with more than 15 years in the saddle and has appeared from Virginia to Montana to California! He has appeared on the History Channel, the Discovery Channel, the Outdoor Channel, and the Smithsonian Channel. Movie credits include Gods & Generals (2003), Reel Injun (2011), plus numerous documentaries. He has been Gen. Custer at the Custer’s Last Stand Reenactment in Hardin, MT since 2007 and is the official Gen. Custer at the Custer Memorial Association in Custer’s birthplace of New Rumley, OH.
We are especially honored to have Rick Williams as Gen. Custer here in Wooster, Ohio!
