17 local history organizations in Medina County will open their doors to the public for their first county-wide History Day on May 22! Spend the day driving throughout Medina County to see historic farms, town halls, houses, railroad cars, and schools-immerse yourself in the area’s local history with guided tours and special exhibits. Most locations will also have refreshments available to purchase, as well as local history books and other mementos.

Organizations participating include: Brunswick Area Historical Society, Hinckley Historical Society, Weymouth Preservation Society, Granger Historical Society, Wadsworth Area Historical Society, Seville Historical Society, Northern Ohio Railway Museum, Chippewa Lake Historical Society, Westfield Historical Society, Lodi/Harrisville Historical Society, Spencer Historical Society, Chatham Historical Society, Medina Town Hall and Engine House Museum, The Little Wiz Fire Museum, Medina County Historical Society, York Historical Society, and Valley City/Liverpool Township Historical Society.
