Application Deadline – NEH Preservation Assistance Grants

Preservation Assistance Grants of up to $6,000 are available to help small and mid-sized institutions improve their ability to preserve and care for their significant humanities collections. This can include collections held by historical societies, museums, and libraries. Eligible collections include historical objects, archival records, prints, photographs, textiles, furniture collections, etc. Grant applicants need to use consultants whose knowledge and experience matches the types of collections that will be preserved. Small and mid-sized institutions that have never received an NEH grant are especially encouraged to apply. The application deadline is May 1.
