Toolbox Workshop: Grants

May 18, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Ohio History Connection’s Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor will be kicking off this summer’s Toolbox Workshop on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Andy Verhoff, Ohio History Connection’s Ohio History Fund Coordinator, will be leading the workshop—providing grant writing tips and a peak into Ohio History Connection’s Ohio History Fund Program.

The talk is an introduction (or a refresher) to good grant writing tips, and the History Fund grant program of the Ohio History Connection. Discover the elements of competitive grant applications, and share what you can do to make yours stand out! The program also includes a survey of the types of projects the History Fund has supported since it started in 2012 – likely projects you are considering, too. Use the tips you pick up when you apply for the History Fund grant this summer, or any grant!

The Toolbox Workshop is a one year outreach program led by the Local History Corps District 4 representative through Ohio History Service Corps AmeriCorps program. These workshops are free and open to the public. The workshop will be held at the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor at 151 W Wood St. Youngstown, OH 44503. The workshop will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Please send any questions or reserve your seats to M. Carmella Cadusale at mccadusale.americorps@outlook.com or 330-941-3459.
