Historically Speaking Lecture Series

The Anti-Lynching Movement presented by Jeremy Shea, AmeriCorps Ohio Service History Corps member at the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center

The lecture will examine the 19th and 20th century lynching of African Americans. In response to these atrocities, the NAACP launched an anti-lynching crusade that formally became known as the Anti-Lynching Movement. Please note: Some of the images in the presentation may not be suitable for children under 14.
